Ascoli
President
Dov has been in the travel industry for over
30 years. He has organized and led tour groups to almost
all the civilized countries in the world, on all five continents.
His travels have taken him around the world twice (with
the same carry-on luggage) and he’s always ready for
another exciting journey. Dov’s a graduate of Long
Beach State University. His hobbies include flying, photography,
classical music and movies.
His business philosophy: "I strive to
provide all our clients with the very best service. And
I treat each person as my only client." |

 Dorthe
Poor
Operations
Dorthe Poor was born and raised in Denmark.
She came to the United States in 1992 as an au pair. She
has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Management from
the University of Redlands and joined TIS in January, 2000.
Dorthe loves to travel and has visited most European countries.
These days, however, her travel is typically to Hawaii for
work (Bummer!) or back and forth to Denmark to visit her
family. When she has time for herself, she enjoys swimming,
hiking and going to the gym. |
|  Becky
Kinnon
Operations
Becky Kinnon was born and raised in Redondo
Beach, California, a native Californian through and through.
Her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, in Sports Management,
however, are from Indiana University. She’s interned with
the College Football Hall of Fame, USA Gymnastics, and the
IU Athletic Department. When she returned home in 2005,
Travel International Sports knew she’d be just perfect for
us with her administration and sports background. Becky
has traveled to Italy, the British Isles, Mexico, Canada
and the Bahamas, as well as all over most of the East Coast
and Midwest. Now she’s looking forward to heading again
for Hawaii, her favorite destination.

 Joanne
Preece
Operations
Joanne was born in England and raised in Northern
California. Always, a beach-lover, she moved to Southern
California where she graduated from the University of California,
Santa Barbara. Joanne has always loved participating in
sports. She was a competitive figure skater for 12 years
and, in high school, found time for soccer and swimming
as well.
These days, she enjoys running (competing
in the occasional 5K, 10K or triathalon), rock climbing,
hiking, and skiing. One of her goals is to see as much of
the world as possible. Memorable trips in recent years include
traveling to Spain for the running of the bulls, Costa Rica,
and, of course, to Hawaii.

 Steve
Baker
Sales
Steve grew up in Los Angeles. He earned his
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing at the University of
Arizona. He loves to travel and work in the sports industry;
a love that brought him, naturally, to Travel International
Sports. Steve’s driven across the United States four
times and plans to visit Europe extensively. He’s
an avid paintball player when he’s not at the gym,
building computers, or at the beach.
At TIS, his responsibilities include all of
the day-to-day sales and customer relations jobs that add
up to great travel experiences for our groups. |

 Ron
Ascoli
Operations
Ron Ascoli’s a native Californian who’s
enjoyed living in the "land of sun and surf" all
his life. He plays guitar, video games and chess. His favorite
sports are football, baseball and basketball. He’s
a big fan of the Oakland Raiders, Los Angeles Dodgers and
the Lakers. Like his favorite teams, he’s tasted "Championship
Gold" as a proud member of the first place 1984 Manhattan
Beach Premier League Tee-Ball Team. Ron graduated from the
University of Santa Cruz with a degree in Politics.
